About Me

Xudong Zhu (朱旭东) received his Ph.D. degree in physics from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2022. He is an Associate Research Fellow at the Institute of Artificial Intelligence, Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center (Hefei-IAI). He completed his post-doctoral work at USTC and Hefei-IAI. His research interests include topological condensed matter systems, mutiferroic materials and machine learning force field.

📚 My Research

I’m a research scientist in the ABACUS team at IAI-Hefei. I blog about DFT calculations, physics and deep learning.

I apply a range of first-principle calculations methods to comprehensively investigate the physical propeties of topological materials, multiferroic materials (ferromagnetic, ferroelectric) and high-k materials.
